Space Cowboy

Another popular piece of my series Abstractions of the Old West. From original pencil drawings, to generated AI abstracts, to Procreate edits and some collaging, these are truly complex pieces.

Based on an original conceptual drawing, this was AI generated and then digitally manipulated, culminating to this final composition. In the process, I discovered AI engines struggle with creating comprehensible images when attempting to generate objects from unrelated time periods or dimensions. Such as "Native American" talking on a "cell phone." What happens is the engine cannot generate a comprehensible image and I end up with these wonderful abstracts. I then collage abstracts with fragments or additional physical pieces or conceptual drawings until I end up with a composition that moves me.

Space Cowboy is a piece that moves me and when people see it, they often stop and immediately recognize it as a very unique piece.
