Sónar+D 2022 by Sasha Stiles

“COMPLETION: Are you ready for the future and the past?” is an AI-powered textblock comprised of generative visual verse co-authored by GPT-3 and poet Sasha Stiles. This piece is part of an ongoing performance poem in which Stiles asks her AI alter ego, Technelegy, to repeatedly answer the question, “Are you ready for the future?" The result is a recursive transhuman dialogue on history and destiny.

This special NFT is an extension of a 12-part poem exhibited in the SonarMàtica by Tezos NFT Exhibition curated by Sónar and Tezos for Sónar+D 2022, minted as a gift to all attendees.

Sasha Stiles is a first-generation Kalmyk-American poet, artist and AI researcher probing the intersection of text and technology. A pioneer of generative literature and blockchain poetics, she is the recipient of a Future Art Award and a nominee for the Forward Prize, Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net, and is co-founder of theVERSEverse, a literary NFT gallery.
