SOMOS

Creamos esta obra homenaje a las mujeres latinas, en ocasión de la exposición NFT Mujer Latina. Nuestra idea de ser mujeres no es algo meramente biológico, tiene que ver con decisiones de vida. Nosotras podemos decidir identificarnos con el poder de lo fluido, mutable, contenedor, nutritivo... Pero también con la voluntad de defender nuestro derecho de ser libres de los esquemas e imposiciones con los que la sociedad quiere definir MUJER, porque no hay una mujer, hay mujeres en pluralidad, multiculturalidad, de biologías diversas, de elecciones de vida particulares. Ser mujer es buscar esa libertad.

We created this work as a tribute to Latina women, on the occasion of the NFT Mujer Latina exhibition. Our idea of being women is not merely biological, it has to do with life decisions. We can decide to identify ourselves with the power of the fluid, mutable, container, nourishing... But also with the will to defend our right to be free from the structures and impositions with which society wants to define WOMAN, because there is no such thing as one woman, there are women in plurality, multiculturalism, of diverse biologies, of particular life choices. To be a woman is to seek that freedom.
