sóller

"Maddi and I have been out in the sun all morning shooting our first commercial project together. Work done for the day, we headed back to our lil casita for some shade. I was smoking a cigarette by the window, thinking about asking her to be my girlfriend, when she lay down in front of me in my boxers and shirt. The mid day sun was reflecting off the windows and onto her like a natural diffuser. I said "wait, stay there, don't move" and handed her my cigarette whilst I grabbed my camera from the other side of the room. Fortunately, the camera was loaded with film as I turned around and caught her, as if in her own world, smoking on my cigarette. I can't wait to get this film back.

This evening we ate pizza in the plaça de la constitución, where I asked her to be my girlfriend."

I knew my first 1/1 had to be this special moment.
