SOLITUDE

In the desert that human interaction has become because of technologies, we still need to value our solitude. Every day we worry about having someone around. Part of this comes from human beings' inherent need to be social, self-assertive, and validated by others. Being alone in its entirety and with your own ghosts and thoughts can be terrifying. However, by controlling our impulses for eternal socialization, we can appreciate solitude as a valuable moment of self-knowledge.
