Solidarity

Solidarity was the first image I connected with the theme of Solidarity, arising from both my creative process and my contemplation of the events leading to the invasion of Ukraine. The image depicts abstract worlds, separate but connected over distances, shared abstractions suggesting shared human experiences, perhaps shared bonds whether conscious or unconscious of one another. This, like much of my work, draws from personal influences including architecture and design, cubism, futurism, and American painters like Grant Wood, Thomas Hart Benton, Georgia O’Keeffe and WPA muralists like Diego River.

This is my "KnownOrigin - Genesis Piece", i.e. the first piece I am minting on KnownOrigin.
