Soft Touch

Gentle. Intimate. Private.

In this piece my aim was to create the warmth and softness of skin. The paper beneath works beautifully to help bring out skin like textures. The warm colours were applied first and then black charcoal layered over the top. Then using my reverse drawing technique I rubbed back through the layers to bring out the form and texture of the figures. This piece was on the board for around 10 hours.
