Last year I created a pencil drawing of a crying clown which I then used as input for A.I. to generate the same clown dancing. I named my piece Happy Delusions and it's part of my Abstractions of the Old West Collection. Most recently I wanted to build onto the concept even further and inject a more modern look with a bright and rich color palette - more typical of clowns. I spent several hours generating images which all fell flat and didn't accurately reflect what I was envisioning. As I modified the input to include "clowns stuck in bubbles" some magical pieces were produced. The bright colors and bubbles are a great representation of "happiness" which creates conflict with the sad facial expressions and body language of the character - a true "happy delusion." I generated 12 clowns in all and I gave each of them a name and attributes to their character. In this way, I've personalized the clown which I think makes the image something more than art - there is now somewhat of a human element to the artwork. I hope you enjoy this series. The first release will be called Happy Delusions II and the second release Happy Delusions III. Happy Delusions I will forever be attributed to my pencil drawing that started it all.
And now...meet Sniffles, the male clown who's been around the circus block a few times and is a seasoned veteran at getting into trouble. Don't let his grandfatherly appearance fool you - this clown has seen it all and can still cause a bit of chaos. He may not be as fast or as agile as he once was, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve. He's a master of his craft and can use his knowledge to get out of tricky situations. So if you see Sniffles at your next circus, be prepared for a bit of mischief and mayhem. Despite his age, he's still a force to be reckoned with and can cause quite a bit of trouble if he sets his mind to it.
