JSW originally trained in restoration then moved into making his own art, starting with sculpture and painting then more recently to digital art. He makes abstract and expressive art. Music of the horse head fiddle is a series based on a shamans vision quest. The series runs in sequence as a glimpse into the unreal. A study in magical realism it moves through figurative pieces to abstract and back again.
