STREET MOMENT #46
Whenever I walk down the street, or perhaps sometimes, I enjoy the idea of looking all around or maybe focusing on a few ephemeral events as I move forward. I find it fascinating how much information the retina captures, and how it all transforms into a personal cultural process.
I'm also interested in extrapolating the concept of walking through the city... or anywhere else... to the idea of sections in social media like "timeline, for you, home, feed." I feel that the digital realm is not entirely "dehumanized" (at least that's what I think now), and that social media and digitalization are more connected to what we see while walking down a street.
Walking is synonymous with scrolling, and maybe when we incorporate that, we'll be in a world where the boundaries between IRL and digitality become blurred... in "reality," they already are.
This composition embodies a bit of all that – go ahead, scroll, go out for a walk...
