Glowsnakes are elongated, legless, carnivorous reptiles of the suborder Serpenticusglowicus. In glowsnakes, a molecule called luciferin is combined with oxygen to create oxyluciferin. A chemical reaction with the light-emitting enzyme luciferase produces their illuminations.
