Sleep is the most vulnerable state of human existence. Sleep exists in limbo between life and death. For me, portrait has been about getting the raw and vulnerable side of the person.
As a self study, I shot images of myself through a sleep cycle. Each grid shot at a specific time interval, constantly scrutinising and documenting my sleep. I move, in reality and in may be in the dreams too. Each movement flowing from one image to the next.
The piece is a collection made from 77 images shot.
By changing layers, would my sleep be disturbed or woken back to the strange reality.
Could I exist in dreams and sleep alone?
