Slaktern
Arctic creative and rapper H*nning (3dv4rd) from Vadsø, Norway blossoms in his eclectic style, amorous glow and cheeky lyrics. Jumping gracefully between expressions, from queer summer RnB to industrial hip hop he tangles with questions of identity, technology and climate. An artist and impresario of the creative collective Lugaren, housing artists from all over the country in a melting genreflow.
In the spirit of punk, H*nning debuted at Markoppsynet during demonstrations against mine waste dumping in Repparfjord in 2021. He subsequently released the single "Slaktern" (the Butcher), an industrial hip hop track with avant garde rap, crackling textures and a dooming operatic choir, teasing his upcoming EP "Bare slaktern kan spise dyr" (Only the butcher may eat meat), which is to be released in 2022.
A cardinal of a Northern Norwegian rap renaissance, Hnnings captivating creativity, cute persona and dancing energy has earned him the nickname Hnning Honning Dansedronning!
