SIN.KING.SHIP
Fiat currency is a sinking ship. Be free to transact without the shackles of a central bank controlled debt note.
This early release of the Filthy Fiat series encodes multiple narratives and vibes (left up to your interpretation) wrapped inside the story of Titanic. At face value it illustrates how the fiat-based currency system is a sinking ship. The ship is taken down by the memes of decentralization.
The dark tale of the sinking ship we all know about is juxtaposed by a inset scene of two Pepe’s on the bow of the ship, basking in the glory of the open water and glory of sailing. A nod to the movie and just as historically accurate as the film itself. Don’t worry, the Pepe lovers survived. They are frogs.
Historical context for the piece:
April 15, 1912 – The Titanic disaster claimed over 1,500 lives, including three of the world's richest men: John Jacob Astor IV, Benjamin Guggenheim, and Isidor Straus, all of whom opposed a central bank in the U.S. Meanwhile, financier J.P. Morgan, a key figure in the Federal Reserve’s creation, canceled his trip last minute, sparking speculation that he intentionally avoided the doomed voyage.
