Sinister Star

Blue stragglers, a puzzle for astronomers for decades, are often found within a cluster of other much older stars. Unlike their more ancient neighbors, they appear inexplicably hotter, younger and bluer. As it turns out these blue stars are vampires sucking away hydrogen from the stars surrounding them.
