I encourage you to look for the names and reach a conclusion of what this piece is about by yourself, but in any case, you're also welcome to read the explanation below.

The concept:

All of the names here belong to journalists and members of the press that were murdered, tortured, poisoned, and killed in Russia, from Yeltsin to Putin, while doing their best to bring awareness to social and political issues - namely corruption schemes involving high-rank officers, businesspeople, and politicians.

The art:

Here I gathered their names and wrote code that took their initials, letter-by-letter, and generated ordered music notes; generative music, kinda. This melody then went through some minor speed/timing adjustment.

This music is the music of those journalists and a representation of their beliefs and ideals.

The video is eye candy to complement the music, imitating a tv without signal and with a surprise at the end.
