Making the ordinary extraordinary. A typical urban scene, but something feels off. Perhaps it is how the elements in frame sit with calculated two dimensional harmony, or the precision with which the low light sculpts our subjects. Perhaps it is the eerie subdued blue sky that hints at neither twilight nor mid day, or the surreal blur of the distant skyline, breaking expectations of a conventional focal plane. It is a congruence of these subtle decisions that shifts this image to a realm not far from our own, yet unmistakable separated from reality.
