Dozens of months have raced by since the great ascent. The world went mad as most scattered to scrape together whatever they could to fit the price. Stumbling over each other in their rush to follow a shooting star. But what had they witnessed, really?
I set out, not as a raving lunatic, but a simple observer; curiosity guiding me through fields of violet vibrations. Others frothed at the mouth and scratched their nails bloody and raw, dreaming of diamonds in smog covered cities. Yet I persevered, still too timid to commit to this shooting star that was everywhere yet nowhere simultaneously. And now I arrive not to stand under the shadow of a star, but at the crash site of a disappointment. Though it is a disappointment only for most... I smile for I know that my time has come. Time to commit to a star that has yet to rise.
