I’ve been obsessed with blue hour since I started finding my style in photography. Some people call it quits after sunset fades, but the blue gradient draws me in. However, this photo almost contradicts that.
After a disappointing sunset and freezing temperatures lingering, I packed up my gear and headed back to the car, discouraged and with frozen fingers. But it was my girlfriend who encouraged me to go take a few more shots as the car warmed up, so I went back out to see if I could salvage the day. This photo is the result.
“Shiver” is a photo born from second chances and freezing temperatures.
