We don’t remember things in full. We remember them in glimpses.
Life has a way of shattering into a few vivid details while the rest fades to grey. It’s the glare on a cold afternoon, the snow-covered bench, or the blueness of the sky. These pieces don't form a perfect picture, and they aren't meant to.
Memory is just what we managed to salvage from the wreckage of a day. It’s jagged and disconnected, but it’s the only part that stays.
