Shadow

This was created with oil paint on canvas in 2019. The title "shadow" refers to the duality of people. We often have two sides or "minds" when it comes to living our lives. The first is the present mind. The mind that we use to navigate the moment at hand. The second is our "shadow" or the mind that we use to think about the future and the past.

This painting was a breakthrough for me as an artist, as far as how I use color in my work, and how I think about concepts and composition. I'm so happy and honored to offer this as my first NFT. Thank you so much.
