Spherical droplets cling to the bright petals of a Dianthus bloom in the evening light after a brief rain. (Dianthus barbatus)
The Dianthus flower symbolizes love and affection.
Most flowers contain a combination of reproductive organs and are able to self pollinate or reproduce through rhizomes if a genetically distinct neighbour is unavailable. Humans are not separate from systems of diversity as seen in nature and also have varied expressions and physicalities - all should be celebrated. Happy Pride!
