"We each provide our individual impact, another cluster of data interwoven in the fabric of our society; an undulating mass of consumables and information, slowly created and digested amongst our artificial ecosystems." A compilation of daily items, artist Yultek takes on his very own carbon footprint. An offshoot of the PERMASTRUCTURE Series, SELF PORTRAIT w/ consumables turns the focus of consumption on the artist, the weight and complexity of a human living a week in the United states in 2024. Notably missing lots of food, rent, and other assorted necessities, Yul balances technology as a major component of his Ven diagram, the steady use of electricity and power: an integral part of any digital artist's lifestyle.
