This work, created in 2016, marks an important milestone for my artistic output: It is the first of my fine art works that exists in a purely digital format as a finished piece. The final image, discovered through a self-reflecting process of adding and removing physical and digital media, is a reference to the teetering between seemingly opposing approaches to art like abstraction and representation, physical and digital, narrative and expression.
