In my Sediments series, I continue my academic research on generative art. The memories evoked by digital objects have no fixed shape, they take on various scenarios and lead to various structures. One of my goals as an artist is to better understand the relationship between image context and imagination and how they shape our world. Through the collection of these memories into digital objects, I hope to better understand how we evolve and how memories can be used as materials in self-reflection. The image can be a direct representation of a memory, a dream, or a nightmare, or it can lead to metaphor, drama, or even a reinterpretation of the past. When confronted with the swirls of shape and texture in these pieces, I am struck by awe and fascination. I hope these images have the same effect on you.
