Secret City

This piece is about looking into another world, is it a future city or a parallel dimension - or both? By juxtaposition, these ordinary objects of the past and future live together in a timeless landscape of magical realism and underlying psychedelic motifs. In this particular work I investigate temporal reality clashing with a deeply surreal and bizarre universe as a way to understand our relationship to our immediate environment, the past and present, and to question the nature of mind and reality. Mixed Media work created in June 2021.
