Peace is often symbolized by the color white. White contains all wavelengths of visible light. It is a blending of all colors of the spectrum, carrying both the positive and negative traits of all of them. If the blending, goes out of balance, there will be no white. Can't the same thing be said about the peace? Isn't it so, that there can be no peace if the balance between the parties involved is disturbed? Is there a pure white or an absolute peace at all? Or aren't they both constantly in an everchanging state?
This piece is based on my painting ‘Peace_2’ (oil on canvas, 120 x 150 cm) and its digian ‘Peace_2_digian_6_d’. My digians are my way to visualize the metamorphose of my ‘digital’ and my ‘analog’ art. This animation starts with my oil painting. The color patches (I call them analog pixels) eventually start to move in different variation before the digital pixels appear. At the end of the animation, the static digian is shown.
The NFT is an edition limited to 10 mints. Each edition includes a signed print of the physical painting on aquarelle paper, of 30 x 45 cm. These prints will also be augmented with AR through the Artivive app.
