Sculpted #3

The third in an ongoing 1/1 collection. Sculpted is a collection of the naturally sculpted ice at Jokulsarlon in Iceland. This beach has many names including Ice beach, Diamond Beach or Black beach to name a few. The icebergs that wash up on the shore here come from the lagoon at the back of the beach. They break up in the lagoon and then wash out through a channel into the sea. Then shaped by the waves, they come to rest on this black volcanic shoreline. I have seen someone lose $10,000 worth of equipment here as they misjudged the waves which took them and their equipment in seconds. Luckily they survived, their equipment wasn't so lucky.
