SCORPIO -the star-

October 23 - November 21

This is scanner photography of flowers representing the 8th sign of the zodiac: Scorpio, the middle of the autumn season. It is a Water Sign ruled by Mars.

The red Erythrina represents Mars’ strength and fire. The Water element is more present in the bluish tone of the cornflower and the wild carrot flower. The cornflower’s sharp petals and the thin stamens reflect Scorpio’s defensive and aggressive side.
