Schadenfreude is a woman who thrives on other's misfortunes. This German word perfectly captures that satisfying feeling when a person gets at times when someone runs into misfortune. She is also associated with Raven birds surrounding her which are a bad omen that brings ill fortune or catastrophe in the future.
