I think the translation for that word is "missing"

in the first months of the pandemic, when technology was no longer enough to fill the void and get closer. And the emptiness, or incomplete, meant an accumulated love, which overflowed and could not be given. A confused feeling ... The hug was missed and still does for some.

nos primeiros meses da pandemia, quando a tecnologia não era mais suficiente para preencher o vazio e se aproximar. E o vazio, ou incompleto, significou um amor acumulado, que transbordou e não pôde ser dado. Um sentimento confuso ... O abraço fez falta e ainda faz para alguns.
