Sarangay

Half-human, half-carabao (water buffalo), the Sarangay is the Filipino counterpart of the Greek Minotaur. It dwells in the wilderness and protects its habitat using its intimidating horns and muscular body. The Sarangay is said to have a sacred jewel attached to its ear. And it will mercilessly kill any human foolish enough to attempt to steal it.
