Santelmo

Santelmo are fire elementals from Tagalog folklore. Some say that they are the benevolent messengers of Tala - the goddess of the stars. While others insist that they are malevolent entities seeking vengeance - formed when the dried blood of a murdered innocent mixes with rain from the sky. The truth may lie somewhere in between.
