This work takes the New Year tree as its point of departure — not as a decorative object, but as a form open to interpretation.
While the silhouette remains familiar, colour becomes the primary agent of transformation. Rather than ornamenting the form, the colours alter its perception, redefining what the tree represents.
Approached through the lens of the flâneur, the work asks a simple yet persistent question: how many different readings can a single form contain?
Here, transformation does not occur through changing the object itself, but through shifting the way it is seen.
