"Salvation"

Initially, this project was conceived as a kind of "return to the roots", as a small story where the character saved herself and her child from an unknown evil. Classic variables in a classic scenario. Now it can be interpreted differently: the character is you and me, and we are saving our freedom from the darkness that overtook us at the most unexpected time. But can this be called salvation? And what if you need to save yourself from yourself? And is it necessary to save yourself at all?
