Rock, Water and Waves

A rock on the shore will never be broken by a steady water. Because the nature of the water is always calm and accept their surrounding. So how could it broke? It is because the power of the wind that affected the water to go on, crashing the rock. So bare in mind, water is always calm, the force always lays in the hand of the waves.
