The use of color and texture is not merely an aesthetic resource, but a language that translates the fragility of the human in the face of the coldness of the synthetic. It is, in essence, an exploration of how we constantly rebuild ourselves, allowing the imprint of the natural and the artificial to coexist in the same space of tension and equilibrium.
"In this work, the mask does not act as a veil, but as a threshold. By covering the most vulnerable areas, the mask strips the body of its most immediate interpretation, forcing the viewer to look beyond the physical. It is an act of protection and, at the same time, of liberation: by concealing what is shameful, I allow the essence of the individual to manifest itself through texture and color, freeing the subject from the labels imposed by the external gaze.
The mask thus becomes a second skin, a necessary artifice that, paradoxically, reveals the deepest truth of being by protecting its most sacred intimacy."
