Robot Barber is a playful yet chilling exploration of a retro-dystopian future, blending nostalgia with a surreal vision of automation gone awry. In this audiovisual experience, I step into the role of the "guy who needs a haircut," caught in the unsettling cheerfulness of an automated barbershop filled with eerily enthusiastic robot stylists.

Inspired by the paradox of progress—where convenience collides with loss of personal agency—the piece reflects on humanity's complicated relationship with technology. As I become both observer and participant, the viewer is invited to contemplate the tension between human comfort and the unsettling perfection of machine-driven efficiency.

Through striking visuals reminiscent of mid-20th-century aesthetics, Robot Barber humorously and critically questions our reliance on automation, probing how far we're willing to go in surrendering human touch and personal choice to technology. This piece is an artistic reminder of the thin line between utopian dreams and dystopian realities.
