Description
This piece is my entry to the 2021 Billelis Collabetition.
He supplied this beautiful skull asset, around which I built a custom fabric simulation in SideFX Houdini. The simulation is triggered by a hidden growth mechanic that envelops the skull over time, which gives this beautiful effect of gradually peeling gold foil.
The animation is 226 frames long and rendered at 1080 x 1350px.
