We started from the premise that to destroy something beautiful just to get involved is wrong. With this statement @rmtrl1 sums up the Revolutionary Happiness project perfectly. It was a profound experience for me to be shown how beauty can be found in the most unlikely of places : In the found, the overlooked, the accidental and forgotten. Torn posters and peeling glue from urban billboards were initially meant to become the base layers for our collaboration. The more we looked though, the more our familiarity with these remnants became an appreciation of their unique, previously ignored beauty. It seemed natural and right to place them front and centre. Integrated beauty.
