Early summer in Aomori, Japan.
It had been a long journey and I was so worn down by the time I reached Choshi Otaki Falls.
The sun had just set over Mount Hakkoda and the sky was somber. The roaring sound of the vehement waters resonated throughout the valley, and I was completely overwhelmed by something that felt like the fury of gods.
I tried very hard to pull myself together, and fought the strange gravity that lured me to the waterfall basin.
