Resilience

I was 5 months pregnant when I took this picture in Lanzarote, one of the beautiful Canary Islands in Spain. This was my last travel journey because I wasn’t going through an easy pregnancy but I had to go and explore once more. I got married on this island but because of all the wedding preparations, we couldn’t go sightseeing so we decided to go back there again. We took a tour bus to move around the island & I was sitting right behind the bus driver but as the bus was moving, all my pictures were shaken or blurry & I was getting upset because the views were amazing & I didn’t have a decent image! The driver heard me & he decided to stop the bus in the middle of the road. He opened the window next to his seat, stood up, turned back at me and said “You have 1 min" and l didn’t even think about it twice, sat on the driver’s seat and took a couple of shots. The smile on my face was priceless. I didn’t know how to thank him. I could have hugged him but that didn’t seem quite right hehe.
