Requiem

This work was created for the Surreal Identity collective drop and event, inspired by my earlier collection Grief Comes in Waves.

Requiem is a farewell to the parts of ourselves we lose in mourning. Grief here is not absence, but a companion — heavy, luminous, and inescapably human. It exists in the liminal space between sorrow and serenity. The work is an invocation of acceptance, a hymn to the silence after loss, and to the quiet strength that remains when we choose to carry it.
