Although the weather wasn't quite playing ball I was not deterred. The old pier remnants at Swanage in Dorset are best photographed from the newer pier, which was just about to close. Speaking nicely to the warden he allowed me an extra 20 minutes to set up here. I was going to get rid of the boat but decided it added a bit of scale to the image.
