Is there any original work or are all the works a combination of what already exists?
This work intends to represent the conflict that creative people face when it comes to generating art.
We are educated in schools, we are bombarded with signs and meanings, the streets are populated with art, the consecration of techniques and styles serves as a guide to those who create to express themselves and to somehow know that they will be understood, it is practically impossible to renounce the references, in one way or another they are always implicit in the work, this is not because of a lazy renunciation to create something "new", it is that the novelty does not necessarily reside in an abysmal difference with what already exists.
All works can mean a multitude of things depending on the interpretation and therefore a work that inspires another work, generates a spectrum of new possibilities and interpretations at different levels and makes creativity continue to expand.
This work talks about the fear that a creative has when generating content without knowing if he is unconsciously exploiting some reference that can be accused of plagiarism, copyright problems or misappropriation.
Of the unhealthy fear that can be generated that can even completely paralyze the author. An inner struggle for not stopping to ask himself the question of whether by creating something he is innovating, he is appropriating something or he is on the right path of creativity, which is to seek the relevant connections between his own look and what already exists to incite a new message.
How far does the law that safeguards copyrights go? Is it capable of understanding that art is a constantly evolving entity that constantly translates itself?
