Relic

Relics are remnants of our past that have survived the passage of time. Traces of our history.

Many religions consider relics to be among their most sacred of objects. They can include human remains or artifacts of great significance. Relic is also a term that can describe an object or custom whose original culture has disappeared.

This piece explores the idea of collective consciousness as it relates to ancestral memory. It is a representation of the history that has brought us here today, which connects us to those that have come before and those who will come after.
