Einstein is arguably the most influential scientist of the 20th century. He performed classic 'thought experiments', such as: riding on a train at the speed of light. His ability to suspend reality and see things in a new light allowed him to make unparalleled contributions to our understanding of the universe. This public domain image of Einstein in Vienna was captured in black and white and colorized here using a custom artificial intelligence (AI)-trained colorization model. Einstein might or might not have been wearing a navy suit depicted in the image. But this is how a computer "sees" Einstein. 'Relative Color' reminds us that what we see is relative and to see things in a new light.
