To realize life requires death, to die before death in the sense of being finished. If I really observe without concepts, perceptions of success/failure, memories of teachings, education, stories I've read, it's REAL LIFE IN THIS MOMENT. Other than Right now all that is happening is the projection of memories of the past that have died. Even when we talk about the future, it is only a virtual mirror of the past. Where does the worry about the future (?) come from, because it is attached to the perception of bitter 'experience' regret in the past, where does the hope for the future (?) come from because it is attached to the perception of "sweet experiences in the past.
