Life is a rollercoaster, We can only acquiesce, To begin our journey, Through its spirals of stress.
Like the anxious clatter of the ascent, That makes our tensions tighten, The stress of the daily, Can, too, make us frightened.
As we climb higher, Worry swells in our chest, Each tick and clack, Adding to our unrest.
Suddenly, we reach it, The precipice of our plight, And the drop of the coaster, Feels like our stress taking flight.
Down we plummet, Hands grasping in the air, And much like life’s trials, It may seem unfair.
Life's sharp turns, The unexpected bumps, Feel like the twists, Of a rollercoaster’s humps.
But at the crest of the ride, We find a view, A moment's peace, Where we feel something new.
For though the pits of the ride, Can cause us such strain, Like the trials in life, We can learn from our pain.
Each rise and fall, Every twist and turn, May be lessons that life, Intended us to learn.
And when the coaster slows, And the end draws near, We may be worn and shaken, But at least we were here.
The spirals of stress, Though rough can impart, Resilience and strength, If we keep faith and heart.
Though it may jostle, Jump and jolt, It shapes us to make it, Through each new tumult.
Just like the rollercoaster, The stress will subside, And as we unbuckle and step off, We gain a sense of pride.
For though the ride was fierce, And times were often tough, We realize in the end, We shine like diamonds in the rough.
