Rain

This piece was created during an intense depression period, and is heavily inspired the song "I'm Broken But I'll Try" by flatsound. The lyrics, both of the song itself and the end poem, are immensely relateable, and hardhitting for me. Especially when my summertime depression kicks in every year. I find it hard to express myself, and explain my feelings in words. Art is much easier. So vent art inspired and based on a song that really brings me comfort, helps me express myself to some extent. This actually took me a long time to create, just because of how hard the depression hit me at this time. I was struggling to even eat or get out of bed for weeks at a time in some cases. Working on this in small doses was actually very grounding for me through that time, and helped me a lot.
